Pizza Hut Restaurants

Tavistock Road, Crown Hill Retail Development, Plymouth PL6 5US, UK – 01752 709800

Food excellent. Staff polite and helpful. Will definitely be eating here again

Always there, and does what it says on the tin. Have had times when service not great, but always handled well when I've told a manager and given a good deal because of it. Would recommend, and always appreciate being able to eat lots of salad while my family gorge on pizza

Beefeater Marsh Mills

300 Plymouth Rd, Plymouth PL3 6RW, UK – 01752 600660

I went with my wife and daughter on the day that managers swapped with the waiting staff for a charity event, and the Front of House greeting was very kind and hospitable as always. However once seated I was served by a woman who was obviously a manager in her day job. She lacked basic customer service skills and was borderline socially inept. Fortunately we placed our orders quickly and that bought us about 45 minutes or so of pleasant dining. The food was enjoyable, though I doubt it was fresh, as my wife had Lasagne and the pasta was stiff and the minced beef was chewy as though it had been stored and re-heated. The dessert was as you'd expect for a mid-range restaurant. A little too sickly for my personal taste. Nonetheless it was a satisfactory experience. I do recommend it for people who want a quiet and inexpensive meal, but probably not suitable for any special occasions.

We didn't stay overnight at the Premier, but w like the pub. Good service, good drink selection, slightly higher prices as befits a Hotel pub. Nice outside seating area which could do with more regular cleaning, but is very pleasant. Ideal stop right next to the main A38.
